Selecting this option allows you to alter the VAT rates by displaying the following screen

Simply highlight the tax code you wish to change and press the edit button to display the following screen.

The EC code check box will analyse the VAT and turnover into the boxes on the VAT return for EEC transactions This will also enable the sales/purchase radio buttons, if you select purchase then you can link the code to another VAT code (normally T1) to recoup VAT paid on Purchases at the foreign rate.

The include in VAT return flag should be set on all types used except for T9
