Control AccountsThis option allows you to alter which nominal codes are used for the control accounts in Line 50 A common alteration is to use 4990 for Sales discounts rather than 4009 as it leaves little room for sales accounts before discounts. To change an account you need first to create the new account then using this option you can alter the number to the new account. Note you will need to journal the contents of the original control account to the new account. |
