Updates Guide

Updating your Sage 50 installation, your Operating System(s) and any other system software such as Anti Virus, System Maintenance tools, Backup software is important if you are going to get the best out of your systems, if you are experiencing any problems then this is the first thing to check.

The best way to check your Sage 50 accounts is up to date is to go to help>About and get the version number, the big long one eg 17.01.12.345

Now go to the Sage updates website http://www.sage.co.uk/accountsupdates/  and check that you have the latest number.

All operating systems have different methods of updating.

In Windows you should go to the Control Panel and look for Updates or Automatic Updates - If you have automatic updates configured you should find there are no Urgent updates, however, there may be some non urgent optional updates, such as network drivers, that could improve performance so it is always worth checking.

On other operating systems there are other methods.
