Sage 50 - Changing the splash screen time

This involves altering the system registry, before you make any changes always backup the registry.  This is a dangerous place to be playing around in, you can stop windows working all together so be careful, you have been warned, we accept no liability for anything you do.

These instructions have been tested with V7 of Sage line 50 on Windows 2000 and Windows 98.

First Backup the Registry

Run Regedit or Regedit32

From the start menu select the run option

and type regedit (or regedit32) and press OK

Double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Double Click on Software then Sage then Line 50 then SplashTimeOut

Double Click on

Change the value from 4000 to 1

Press OK and Close the registry editor

Whenever you go into Line 50, the splash screen loads for a fraction of a second and you are in.
